Disappointments and frustrations are a very positive experience in making conceptual schemes. It means you are aiming for a higher goal/purpose. It means you are willing to undergo the process several times.
Or, it means the design brief wasn't digested and processed enough to distill an appropriate and vector approach. Both disappointment and frustration seem such negative/ expletive words to describe a sentiment incited by the creative process. It my book, that's not a good sign.
i am not a designer... but in my way of life and living... frustrations and disappointments makes me aim high... that is giving me a kick to do better...
